I made a stupid mistake before my trip. I bought a light polyester dress for the beach.
It looked perfect at home. Soft, flowy, kind of elegant. Around 35–40 euros at Zara — nothing special, just something easy.
First day in Port de Sóller — and I regretted it almost immediately.
Within minutes the humidity hit. The fabric stuck to my thighs, then my back. After a short walk I could already see sweat patches under my arms. Not dramatic, but enough to feel uncomfortable and start adjusting the dress every few minutes.
It just didn’t behave the way it did at home.
